School is back in session!  How do you get to school?  Do you ride the bus or do you walk?  Maybe your Mom and Dad drive you to school.  Some kids really like to ride their bikes to school.  In my new book, "Transportación" you can learn the Spanish words for lots of different modes of transportation.  It is also really fun to think about all of the cool places you can go, other than school.  My favorite place to go is to the park!  How about you??

Here's a thought, el otoño (autumn) has officially arrived.  Where do you like to go in el otoño?  Mi familia y yo (my family and I) love to go to the pumpkin patch!  Do you like to go to the pumpkin patch?  The Spanish word for pumpkin is la calabaza.  Stay tuned for my video, "Las calabazas"!  We will sing about all the different sizes of pumpkins you can find from the smallest pumpkins all the way up to the biggest!

La Transportación

Hola!  It's that time of year again...el verano (summer) and we are all gearing up to get out of school.  Many people are preparing to hit the road and take a trip.  I like to go to the beach in the summer and to get there, we go by car.  Where do you like to go in the summer?  How do you like to get there?  Listen to my song about different types of transportation.  Have you flown in an airplane?  Have you been in a boat?  Do you like to go bike riding?  There are many ways to get from one place to another.  Sing along with my song and learn new vocabulary in Spanish.

This video doesn't have subtitles, but hopefully the picture will give you enough info as to what the words mean.  ENJOY!

El Arco Iris (The Rainbow)

Have you seen a rainbow lately?  Do you know when rainbows usually appear?  I sure love to look for rainbows when the sun comes out after a rain storm.  All the beautiful colors make me happy and I like to take a picture of them.  In the video below, you can sing along with me as I teach one of my classes about how rainbows happen.  The sun and the rain work together to give all of the people a beautiful rainbow to enjoy.
